Clean Air Clear Stars is a volunteer run music festival in its fifth year, taking place nearby Joshua Tree National Park in the enchanting desert community of Pioneertown, CA, an old-timey Western movie set built in the 1940′s. All proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Arbor Day Foundation to plants thousands of trees across the United States.
Over the past 5 years Clean Air Clear Stars has hosted over 100 of todays best bands such as the Dandy Warhols, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Black Angels, Robby Krieger from The Doors, Dead Meadow, Gram Rabbit, Spindrift, Sky Parade, Hopewell, He’s My Brother She’s My Sister and many many more.
The festival features 3 stages and is held over the course of two days. Festival goers may camp in designated areas or stay in any of the many nearby hotels, motels or spas.
